public enum UploadState extends Enum<UploadState>
Intake outcome for a document, as recorded on an UploadReceipt and reported by the status lookup.

ACCEPTED is sticky: a later REJECTED/ERROR event never downgrades it (out-of-order delivery), but a retry that succeeds does upgrade an earlier rejection/error back to ACCEPTED — the doc_id is deterministic, so the retry lands on the same row.

      Intake accepted the document and handed it off downstream.

    • REJECTED

      public static final UploadState REJECTED
      Rejected at the boundary — the client's fault (4xx-class); see code.

      Failed due to a server-side fault (5xx-class); see code/errorId.
